Four basic operations of Mathematics Addition Subtraction Multiplication Division Addition is a mathematical operation that explains the total amount of objects when they are put together in a collection. Subtraction is the arithmetic operation that is the opposite of addition. Subtraction is used when you want to know how many objects are left in the group after you take away a certain amount of objects from that group.
Addition is ... ... bringing two or more numbers (or things) together to make a new total. Here 1 ball is added to 1 ball to make 2 balls: Using Numerals it is: 1 + 1 = 2 And in words it is: "One plus one equals two" Example: When we add 2 and 3 we get 5 . We can write it like this: 2 + 3 = 5 Swapping the position of the numbers we are adding still gets the same result! 3 + 2 = 5 ... also ... 2 + 3 = 5 More Examples: 5 + 1 = 1 + 5 = 6 7 + 11 = 11 + 7 = 18 4 + 100 = 100 + 4 = 104 Larger Numbers: Use Addition in Columns To add larger numbers use Column Addition : Names Other names for Addition are Sum, Plus, Increase, Total And the numbers to be added together are called the " Addends ": For better understanding: https://www.khanacademy.org/math/early-math/cc-early-math-add-sub-...
Circle: A Circle is a closed figure in a plane and it is the collection of all those points in the plane, which are at a constant distance from a fixed point in the plane. The fixed point is called the centre of the circle and the constant distance is called the radius of the circle. There is one and only one circle passing through three given points. Angle subtended by an arc of a circle The angle subtended by an arc at the centre is double the angle subtended by it at any point on the remianing part of the circle. The angle subtended in a semicircle is aright angle. Angles in the same segment of a circle are equal.
